From My Heart to Yours
Hi sweet friend,
I’m so happy you are visiting my page. I’d be delighted if we were together because I would get to pamper you by fixing you a cup of coffee and offering you one of my delicious Sugarman cookies. (Somehow everything just seems better with coffee and a special treat.) We’d share stories and exchange words of encouragement, and most likely laugh and cry a little. And I’d probably wrap you in a big warm hug because spreading love and joy makes me happy.
I want you to know that being transparent is important to me because I’m a person, just like you, who experiences all the ups and downs in life. We all have struggles. I’m well acquainted with fear and anxiety and heartbreak. I’ve experienced the deep pain of rejection, betrayal, abandonment, and loss like so many others.
The faithfulness of God is what carried me through my darkest moments straight into the light of His great love where I found immeasurable hope and healing at the feet of Jesus. God’s comfort and presence were my lifeline and will always be my lifeline. God truly can, and will, bring incredible beauty from ashes. I know this to be true because the Master Healer has done that for me again and again, and He will do it for you too. Through my challenges and heartbreak, God changed my life. He completely transformed me. As His beloved daughter, God raised me up to be an Overcomer in Christ, pressing through obstacles that in my own strength were impossible, but not with His mighty power. God’s healing touch taught me not to give up. To keep believing in Him because He is faithful and never, ever changes. And that no matter what life sends my way, God is still penning the pages of my life story into the next chapter that will bring glory and honor to His majestic name.
And that’s why I write. That’s why I obey when God prompts me to share my story and personal journals through the writing of Whispers and more. It’s to comfort you with the way He comforted me. If there is anything in my experiences that will help you through your valleys and mountaintops, then I am honored to come alongside you and cheer you on, so you’ll know you are not alone. You can do this!
And for children, I’m passionate about sowing seeds of God’s love into innocent little hearts through the stories and songs of Sugarman the Pony and his playful barnyard buddies that teach godly character and moral values. Ministering to both women and children brings me joy I can barely contain.
From the professional side of me, all the projects I’ve worked on, and continue to pursue diligently, I completely acknowledge are all giftings from the Lord because I could never have done any of this without Him. Those who know me best will wholeheartedly agree.

So, there’s the professional side of me. However, the day in and day out me that’s loving to live and living to love is…
- Spending time with Jesus in His Word, praying and worshiping.
- Making memories with my family
- Sharing my story to inspire and help others.
- Baking and sharing delicious Sugarman cookies
- Sipping coffee with friends while sharing from the heart
- Monthly Praise Parties
- Enjoying the great outdoors
We only have one life to live and make a difference in people’s lives. So, will you join me? Will you get back up from whatever has stopped you in your tracks, and go once again? God gives us fresh starts and new beginnings with the dawn of each new day. Together let’s dance on sunshine today, laugh with abandon, spin around in wonder and sparkle with the joy of the Lord that gives us our strength.
I love sharing this grand adventure of life with friends like you,
