Don’t you just love this time of year? Spring is around the corner and soon pretty daffodils will sprout their cheery heads. Blooms will open up on trees and shrubs in an exhibition of color that simply takes your breath away. I like to think it is God’s way of reminding us that vibrant life, a fresh beginning, or a brand new start is on the way. A bright adventurous season to celebrate and explore; forgetting the past, and being watchful for the new thing God is preparing and doing. For He is making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland as only He can do.
So as I am writing this, my first blog, I can’t help but think what a beautiful time God chose to launch this new project through me He has been so meticulous in sculpting, squeezing and shaping for nearly four long—will it ever get here—years.
But before God could begin this incredible journey that I am now on, there were broken pieces and shattered dreams in my life that needed to be healed and restored in order for me to be a vessel God could pour through in the way He had prepared for me way back when I was so fearfully and wonderfully created.
I surrendered my all to Him and though the process was painful and sometimes overwhelming, God faithfully turned my ashes to beauty. Now my heart is full of more love and joy than I can possibly contain.
Part of the healing process included keeping a journal—for the first time—during my quiet times in the early mornings with my sweet Jesus. I wrote what God put on my heart and it was like a personal word from the Lord that strengthened, encouraged, and even at times chastised me. It was, and still is, a source of refinement and growth for my life.
As time passed, I felt God prompting me to share my journal entries. So, with my bare heart exposed, I obeyed and shared a few pages with my closest friends. I was in awe when their hearts were touched as God’s love tenderly wrapped them in His loving embrace. I realized what I had penned could be a gift that if shared, would encourage and help others on their own personal journey of life.
Whispers from His Heart© was born and I began to understand that the Whispers were to be used as part of my blog. Yikes! You can only imagine the courage it has taken to reveal these intimate journal entries with, basically, the world!
It is my deepest desire this blog will hold you close, encourage you, and uplift your heart. No matter where you are or what you’re going through in life, know that God is with you always. His miracles can be seen everywhere if you will just open your eyes and see.

Whisper:
The Great I Am
I AM with you everywhere you go. Look for Me in the endless sky above that stretches as far as the east is to the west.
I AM the brilliant light of the sun that washes over you, bathing you in warmth.
I AM the gentle breeze that blows softly across your face in a caress of grace.
I AM the Creator of the birds that sing a symphony of morning cheer, welcoming you into a new day made just for you—a day of new beginnings and fresh starts.
I AM the flowers that blossom and blanket the earth with magnificent color.
I AM in the person who shares a smile or compliment with you at the right moment, or a sermon speaks directly to your heart, hungry for a word from Me.
I AM the gentle lapping of the waves in an ocean so deep and wide.
I AM the fiery sunset, ablaze with streaks of amber, silver and gold—a stunning display of My glory that takes your breath away.
I AM the One who breathes life and hope into your darkness. Worry and doubt may stoke your fears, but as you lean into My dependable and loving arms, I draw you closer still, for I AM ever near. Let go, My child, and walk steadily in My grace, seeking always My truth and My face.
I AM the Lord your God; My love for you knows no bounds. Forever endless, forevermore…
All that I AM,
Your loving Father

I encourage you to reach out and take hold of all that God has for you. Seek Him with everything within you and awaken to His call on your life. Stretch toward anything new He may be calling you to, for God is moving, and He is looking for hearts joined to His, willing to do whatever he asks. Believe for the impossible and let Him breathe life into your dreams again!
Living to love,
Brenda
